What's New!

  Relocation to North Texas - Due to my employment relocation, my family and I moved from Arizona--our home of 26 years--to the great state of Texas.  Our new address and contact information is here.

100% hand lay-up.  Because of the enormous success of our hardtop, we updated the tooling molds and have moved to a 100% hand laid-up part.

These improvements are most noticeable in the elimination of voids and air pockets in the tooling seam-lines.  Customers have reported the new White gel-coat part is essentially a sand, prime and paint proposition.

Confusion about our website: We finally got our web pages removed from Cox servers.  Apparently, FrontPage extensions don't always remove ghost pages.

We are currently hosting our website with a national hosting service (www.netfirms.com ) to ensure access is never limited.

Our website can always be found at http://apeproducts.com.  Other links and search engine results may link to host server locations that may change from time to time.

  By popular demand, we have completed our Quarter Window option that is straight- forward and can be retro-fitted to you completed hard top.

  Revised Inventory Philosophy - Current conditions have made me re-think my inventory and production philosophies.  My relocation has us living in a very rural community, without much of the amenities I've grown accustom to. Basic conveniences like high speed internet, 220v (for my welding machine) and trucking access are all lacking until we move into our new home.

We are now taking these actions to correct this situation:

• Replenishment of on-hand inventories, increased production runs and re-order quantities to shorten lead times.

• Sub-contracting of part fabrication and specialty work that cause facility disruptions.  (Current limits on mfg space and time have forced me to specialize and my loving wife  manufacturing space 

• CNC manufacturing of plastic side window parts -- They have been a chronic source of back orders.

• Construction of a 1,600 sq-ft facility - replacing our current, very limited 450 sq-ft facility.

Additionally, I recognize the need to do a better job of communicating with my customers.  Because this is a part-time (mostly weekends) endeavor for my, I hope my customers understand that I generally cannot be reached during the workday.

Quality and value have long been recognized as key attributes of APE Products. That may be, in part, why demand for our hard top, windows and turn signal kits continue to challenge our production capacity. 

I plan to continue to make my products available to my Cobra friends. I remain committed to quality and price, and to that end, I have a full to job to pay the bills.  Having delivered over 50 hardtop kits and 120 turn signal kits to date, I hope customers are confident that APE Products are the best money can buy. 

What's Not New... but Still Noteworthy.

Improved weather stripping on Side Windows for better performance under extreme temperature conditions.

Our Side Window design offers a completely innovative flip-up design. APE side windows offer improved performance while retaining a nostalgic outer appearance.  Using space-age materials and adhesives, we have improved functional performance and reduced weight .

A finished interior complete with spray-in bed-liner becomes standard on our Removable Hard Top Kit.  The bed-liner provides a durable matte black finish.

Our hard top kit is shipped packaged in a specially designed shipping crate that doubles for a convenient storage rack.

Improved hard tooling for rear window and window opening ensures an easy and accurate fit by do-it-yourself installers and allows for replacement windows if/when the rear window should become scratched or damaged.

   Website incorporates the PayPal® Shopping Cart functionality.  This FREE and secure on-line payment service provides our customers the most secure and hassle-free method of purchasing our Products.
